The Real Reason of the losing streak

The Chiefs have finally seemly to have gotten back their mojo. One has to question in the first place, how the they lost their mojo. The easy answer would be to say that they just a bunch of issues that piled up at one time. While that would be factual it is not the main thing that happened. The team lost their motivation.
Every team we lost to with the exception of the Cowboys had more motivation to win headed into the game than the chiefs did. Pittsburgh, the Chiefs first loss, came into that game off of a horrible loss to Jacksonville. The Chiefs always lose to the Steelers so no one batted an eye. Then came the Thursday night Oakland game. Keep in mind this when the Raiders were still thought to be in contention for the division and a high seed in the playoff. The Redskins had just completely shutdown the Raiders. While the Chiefs still should have won this game, the motivation wasn't there. That was the heart breaker. That loss made them question their ways. They might have beat the broncos after that but it didn't mean anything because if a qb throws more picks in a game than touchdowns (by that I mean more than just two) your team isn't gonna be good. Then Dallas happened. The defense did their job mostly, but the offense sputtered. The offense continued to sputter and go through the motions. This most evident example of this is Alex Smith, he held shots back, got happy feet, and ultimately played terrible. You could just kinda tell that they were going through the motions when they were playing. Some guys like Kelce, and Peters were very frustrated by this, which also lead to there actions on and off the field. Even the Coaches seemed to go through the motions, which would explain why the play calling got switched over to Nagy. The Jets game was when you started to see the Chiefs come alive again. That was just a close loss as far as I can tell. So far they seemed to have gotten motivation back with their backs on the wall. The Raiders also now have a losing record this season, so the Chargers game will be the telling point in my mind. Look for the players, coaches and fans to get pumped against the Chargers on Saturday.
