Picks for the week 17 Broncos game.

What's on the line?
Nothing. Maybe Schwartz's snap record. Other than that this game is meaningless.

What to look for...
Obviously the big one is Mahommes. All eyes are going to be on his performance, but if you are like me (and unlike me because you get to watch the game this week.) you are going to be looking for other players. On the defensive side I would look for how Kpassagnon and Eligwe affect Lynch's game. Kpassagnon has already gotten "real snaps" at linebacker, but has been very limited in snaps, and hasn't looked bad. Eligwe will be a complete wildcard assuming he gets to play. On the offensive side besides Mahommes look for Chesson, and the line. Erving may play his home position of tackle, which he hasn't played since he entered the league.(GIVE HIM A CHANCE PEOPLE!!! HE'S BEEN PLAYING OUT OF POSITION. )  Ehinger is getting the start at guard for the first time since midway through last year. Also Orson Charles, he has had some good blocks and that one 35 yard catch.

Key Players of the game...
Offense: Mahommes, or Hunt. Just to clarify Akeem Hunt, not Kareem. If Mahommes even looks competent, than there will be hope for next year. (Remember he won't have Kelce, or Hill this game.) Akeem Hunt will give this run game a new faster dimension.

Defense: Mitchell or Kpassagnon. Mitchell played well as the number one corner a few weeks ago so lets see if he can do it again. Kpassagnon, has showed promise in limited snaps, so lets see what we get from a full game with him.

Special Teams: Akeem Hunt on Kickoff duty. Normally its Butker, but this game doesn't matter as much from a winning standpoint, and I think Hunt will help bring some life into this unusually dreary Special Teams unit.

My Pick...

Its funny how close this can be with the Broncos still playing their starters, so I am going to say probably 27 to 21 Chiefs. I think Mahommes goes and lights it up a few times, and then Denvers defense gets their way, but the Bronco offense just can't catch up. Especially without Sanders.

Final notes...
Happy New Years eve, make sure you have a Designated driver.
I will sadly be unable to watch the game due to my actual job, so if you see me, let me know what you thought.
Also Keep Tyreek Hill in your thoughts and prayers as it looks like he just lost a loved one.
